Sta-rite max-e-pro 3 hp pump 208-230/460v – 3 phase full rated, energy efficient model # p6r6h3-209. Merchant return slip stated ” box wasn’t sales floor condition” but we have since found the real reason for return. It was discovered that the connection terminal just inside of connection cover is missing (see pics2-4), we don’t think this is huge problem for someone with electrical ability or just get a new terminal. No other damage or missing parts was seen and as we have said it is very clear ths item has not been installed. Part could be missing from the factory but more likley someone needed the part and removed it then returned the item for credit. $700+ dollar unit, invest $20 for the part or take it out of your old one. Wiring instructions very clear on side of motor complete with wire colors.
